Carphone Warehouse is to close all 11 Best Buy shops in the UK

Carphone Warehouse has announced is to close all of its  Best Buy stores in the UK.

The UK arm of Best Buy is a joint venture between Best Buy from the US  and Carphone Warehouse.

The first Best Buy store only opened last April but the joint venture has failed to make a profit.

The outlets are located in Liverpool, Derby, Bristol, Nottingham, Rotherham, Wolverhampton, Thurrock, Southampton, Croydon, Hayes and Enfield.

The original plan was to open 200  across the UK and continental Europe.
